I have gone through this interesting tutorial notes prepared by Dr. K V K K Prasad. Software testing is a topic 0f great current interest to the software engineering community. Whether it is testing of a complex VLSI chip or software module, it is a challenging task and thus one encounters similar steps in the test process. Dr. Prasad starts with an interesting introduction to Software Quality Assurance, and briefly highlights the concepts underlying the Software Testing Process and Methodologies. An interesting introduction to Automated test tools makes it a good reading.
Function/Regression testing tools and Load testing tools form important components in the test process and Dr. Prasad has presented these notions with adequate clarity. Various related issues such as Software Testing Process Management Tools and Configuration Management are covered quite systematically.

Tech., in Satellite Communication and Remote Sensing and PhD in Automatic Generation and Recognition of Speech from Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur. He had brilliant academic records. His association with Telecommunication Industry spanned over two decades and served this industry in various key positions with great distinctions.
