Author
Prof. Santosh Kumar had his technical education in Civil Engineering from R.I.T. Jamshedpur (Now NIT/J), Roorkee University (Now IIT/R) and Delft University (Netherlands). He had been University professor at Bihar College of Engineering, a constituent of Patna University, where he taught for almost forty years. After retirement he was World Banks Projects Consultant for four years. Before this he was Principle of Apex Institute of technology (Jaipur), S.J. Engineering College (Dausa) and Gurukul Institute of Engineering & Technology (Kota).
During his teaching years he guided number of Ph.D. and a large number of Master of Engineering dissertations. He has also published more than fifty National and International Research papers.
He was also a consultant to the World Bank Project in Bihar for four years.he has authored several technical books on subject of Irrigation Engineering, River Engineering and a book for Competitive Examinations and co- authored a book on Environmental Science.
He had been a visiting Professor at Patna University, Magadh University and Pataliputra University.
Professor Santosh Kumar is a well-known personality in Social Circles of Patna. Every evening, he provides free tuition to poor kids from class VI to XI. He had been a noted theater activist having directed more than ten full length stage place and several corner plays of social importance.
